It has come to the notice of the Institute that some newspaper insertion has been made on the use of abbreviation ICMAI by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Our Institute denies the contents of such insertion. It may be mentioned that in respect of a Writ Petition filed in the Madras High Court by some Chartered Accountant, no interim order has been passed by the Hon'ble Court and the matter has been adjourned to 21st August, 2017. Meanwhile the Institute is taking appropriate steps in the matter.
