Career development is a lifelong process that, whether you know it or not,actually started when you were born. There are a number of factors thatinfluence your career development, including your interests, aptitude,values, personality, intelligence, and circumstances. Ideally careercounseling is meant for students in standards 8 through 11 who want to makean informed choice while deciding upon the future choice of subjects / careerand for those who want to discover their field of aptitude and interest.

Career Guidance helps the students to select the right career path accordingto their choice and interest. Career Counselling is now being increasinglystressed as an integral part of education. In addition to the right kind ofjob and the right approach in this direction, CMA Career Counselling Programshelp the students to evaluate their inner abilities, interests, talents andpersonality traits to develop and achieve realistic academic, professionaland career goals.

Functions:

Career Counselling is essential for higher secondary and senior secondary students and their parents and aims to perform the following functions:

• Career planning by raising awareness of career interests, aspirations andpotential
• Performance management by diagnosing the underlying causes ofunder-performance in studies, extra-curricular activities, etc.
• Career transition by clarifying an individual’s strengths, areas fordevelopment, and personal goals

Career Counselling Department of the Institute is relentlessly working onvarious facets of career development of the students through various modesand channels, like:

• Career Counselling at individual level
• Career Counselling at School / College / University level
• Career Counselling at Career fair, Job fair, Book fair
• Career Advancement Program at Corporate level
• Mega Career Counselling Events

Placement & Training

The Institute has a vibrant Placement Cell to facilitate the placements forall deserving students. It works round the clock to facilitate the placementopportunities for both qualified and semi-qualified CMAs. The PlacementDirectorate works closely with Corporate Sector to groom students as perindustry requirements. Industry is always on the lookout for students withsound academic background, who are vibrant, knowledgeable, energetic,attentive, fast learners, adaptive, good communicator and ready to acceptchallenges. The Institute is committed to offer best talent for corporates.

Placement Cell of the Institute intends to provide 100% placement assistance to all CMA students and offers support, guidance and assistance to them at pre-placement stage which is immensely helpful in grabbing a lucrative job.

Functions:

• Guiding students to choose right career path and to provide domainknowledge, skill and right aptitude to cater the skilled manpowerrequirements of the Industry
• Training and guidance opportunity by the eminent industry membersand professionals for capacity building and enhancing domain knowledge
• Maintaining and regularly updating database of students for possibleplacements
• Maintaining database of companies and establishing strategic linksand network for campus recruitments
• Coordinating with companies to understand their requirements andrecruitment procedures
• Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assistthem in recruiting most suitable candidates
• Organizing pre-placement Orientation program / training / workshops /seminars for students to keep them up-to-date
• Arranging CFO & HR Discussion Meet pan India basis
• Collecting feedback from employers to know where our students standin the selection process and guiding them accordingly
• Assisting students for industrial training before or after thecompletion of the Course
• Acting as a link between students, alumni and the recruiters
