Cost Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (CAASB), the standard-setting body of the Institute, has approved the release of Exposure Drafts of Standards on Cost Auditing (ED SCA) ‘Written Representations’ and ‘Evaluation of Misstatements identified during the Audit’ in its 22nd meeting held on 6th November 2015. The exposure drafts are hosted on the Institute’s website for obtaining suggestions and comments. The Exposure Drafts will be modified in light of comments received before being issued as Standards in final form.
