EDITOR'S NOTE
Greetings!!!
We are delighted to bring out the second edition of the e-Magazine on “Cost
Competitiveness”, an offering of the Directorate of Research & Journal of the
Institute. It mainly highlights on case studies, interviews on cost competitiveness
and innovative ideas on Cost Competitiveness and Sustainability. Inputs are
mainly received both from the corporate stalwarts and academicians.
With the amplifed globalization of the economy, the term competitiveness has
become all-pervading. So competitiveness, innovation and productivity are
key mantras for a region’s economic well-being. In general sense, productivity
is a signifcant determinant of a region’s overall per-capita income. Spurring
innovation can help productivity, competitiveness and would also help to raise
the nation’s standard of living and socio-economic sustainability.
We are extremely happy to convey that our e-Magazine on “Cost Competitiveness”
will be quarterly uploaded in our website www.icmai.in.
We look ahead to constructive feedbacks from our readers for the advancement
