The key enablers for Indian industry to effectively compete and grow in the present difficult global market are to operate under a simple and transparent indirect tax system, which does not add tax cascading to the cost of production. In this regard, the Government of India has been working towards the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. The Government of India is all set to implement the GST in India and has fixed April, 2016 as deadline for GST launch.
Keeping in view the above the Institute is organizing a Session on “A way ahead to GST” on Tuesday, 9 December 2014 at CMA Bhawan, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The salient discussion points in the session would be:
