The ICAI, a premier Statutory Cost and Management Accounting body instituted the National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management in the year 2003 to recognize and honour the organizations which have implemented efficient and innovative Cost Management techniques. Participation by a large number of companies; small, medium and large; across various sectors of the economy in the recent years demonstrates the popularity of the award and its impact on spreading the massage of cost consciousness and cost management.
All Companies (Listed or Unlisted) are eligible to participate in 16th National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management-2018 irrespective of applicability of Companies (Cost Records and Audit) Rules, 2014 as prescribed in the Companies Act. Further, Unit(s) of a Company can also participate but the Unit is required to submit its Audited Financial Statements for the years 2017-18, 2016-17 & 2015-16
The Institute invites companies to participate in 16th National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management-2018. For participation, please fill up Questionnaire and send along with the annual reports either through email to ecma@icmai.in or hard copy by post so as to reach us latest by May 15, 2019 (now extended upto 31st May, 2019). The information submitted by you will be kept strictly confidential. This year’s questionnaire has been revised to make it compact and concise on the recommendation of the previous Jury. Awards will be given in various categories to the participating organisations in Manufacturing and Service Sectors as per the guidelines appearing in the Questionnaire.
