The recent amendments in various corporate legislations like the Companies Act, 2013; The Securities Contracts (Regulations) Act,1956; The Depositories Act, 1996; The Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999; The ForeignContribution (Regulations) Act, 2010 and other allied legislations have been designed with a vision to improve the “Ease of Doing Business”. The amendments focus on Regulatory checks, accountability and governance standards required in India, which have received a serious boost with the introduction of the new amended law. It requires for professionals to upgrade their skill sets in areas of various legislations, vigil mechanism, internal & statutory audit, strategies and business performance of the Company etc.
