  1. How can I check if my system and devices are compatible with the Virtual Classroom?

    • These tests ensure that your system meets the basic technical requirements, to successfully run or attend a live class on WizIQ. If any test fails, follow the on-screen suggestions to resolve the issue.Please click here to Test the system compatibility

        Flash player 10.3 or later
        Browser Internet Explorer, Chrome*, Safari, Firefox, Opera
        Operating system Mac OS X, iOS, Microsoft Windows, Android, Linux
        Port 1935 RTMP or Port 80 Should be open

        *iOS and Android users need to install the WizIQ App to access Virtual Classroom

        *Users on Chrome browser must upgrade the browser to version 28.0.1500.72 or above for better Audio/Video experience in the Virtual Classroom.

  2. I am unable to run the Virtual Classroom on Google Chrome. I keep getting the message: “Warning: Audio/video quality may deteriorate.” Why does it happen?

    • This message appears when you use certain versions of Google Chrome browser. This is because of the inherent compatibility issues between Google Chrome and Adobe Flash Player. Many people the world over face this issue while using these applications for audio & video streaming. You can fix this issue with one of the following options:


      • Upgrade your Chrome browser
        Simply upgrade your Google Chrome browser to version 28.0.1500.72 or above.
      • Use an alternate browser
        Use other browsers viz. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Opera.
      • Use your existing Chrome browser
        You can continue to use your existing Chrome browser and disable the default Flash Pepper (PPAPI) plugin in Chrome version 21 or above. To disable the plugin, follow the steps given below:
        • Type chrome: //plugins in the browser address bar.
        • Click + to expand Details in the upper-right area of the screen.
        • Locate the Shockwave Flash plugin in the list.
        • Ensure that Shockwave Flash plugin of Type: NPAPI, is in the list and it is enabled.*
        • Now locate the Shockwave Flash plugin of the Type PPAPI (out-of-process).
        • Click Disable for the PPAPI Flash plugin.
        • Re-launch the browser.

  3. Audio and video quality is not good in the Virtual Classroom. Why?

    • If audio and video quality is not good in the Virtual Classroom, you could be using a slow internet connection. You need to switch to a high-speed internet connection for better audio and video quality in the Virtual Classroom.
  4. How do I launch an online class on my iPad or Android tablet?

    • In order to launch an online class on your iPad or Android tablet, you need to install the WizIQ App for iPad or Android on your device. You can download the WizIQ App from the App Store or Google play , depending on the device you are using. These apps are available for free.
    • Once you have the WizIQ App installed on your device, you can launch your online class in one of the following ways:
      • Launch the WizIQ App on your iPad or Android tablet and use the online class URL/ link to directly launch the class.
      • Launch the WizIQ App on your device and log in to the App using your WizIQ account username and password to access the list of live and upcoming classes and launch the class.
      • If you are using your iPad or Android tablet and launch the class from your native e-learning platform (CMS/LMS or www.wiziq.com), the App gets invoked through the browser and the class is launched automatically.
